Feleny Georghiou’s successful career creating wigs and hairpieces for TV and film inspired her to develop her own 100% human hair extension system.
Of course adding hairpieces to actors’ natural hair to create volume, length, and different styles, isn’t new. But Feleny wanted to find a way to create more natural-looking extensions that would fit securely into the wearer’s own hair. She developed a system that used smaller strands of human hair, known as micro hair extensions.
Following huge demand for her human hair extension system in the film and TV industry, Feleny decided to make it available to the public. She founded Connect Hair in 1989 and became the first company to launch a human hair extension system onto the high street. She quickly became acknowledged as a leading expert in professional hair extensions and opened her now famous salon in Hampstead.
With Feleny as our creative director, and her reputation as an expert in permanent hair extensions, Connect Hair attracts a loyal clientele, which includes many A-list celebrities. She has personally trained each member of the stylist team to the highest standards so clients can be confident they will always receive the most professional treatment.
