Course Details
Day 1
10.30 Class begins!
Students will view a 30-minute instructional video, covering all aspects of the Connect Technique in Hair extension application.
11.30 am “Hands On Training’
Students will be shown how to operate the Connect Hair System equipment.
Working on a head block, students will be taught how to master the Connect technique of safely and securely attaching each extension and where not to attach them. Students will follow a specific pattern to create all over length and volume.
2.00. Lunch Break
2.45 pm Afternoon session commences. Students will continue attaching extensions and will be taught:
Client Consultation: Choosing the correct colour, texture and style for each client..
Colour Blending: Choosing the right colours and learning how to blend them for a complete natural look.
Layering: How and when to add layers to create a natural look.
Fringe work: How to create the perfect fringe.
Fine Hair: How to add volume onto fine hair using micro sized hair extensions.
Adding Colour: How to add highlights using extensions.
Safe removal: of Connect hair Extensions
Client Aftercare: Washing and maintenance of Hair Extensions.An introduction into the full ranges of Connect human Hair-its origins and various processing techniques.
How to order stock and how best to use up left over stock.
Salon Promotion: How to successfully introduce hair extensions to your clients.
5pm Finish
Day 2
Students are requested to bring along a model-preferably another member of staff as this will help in-salon promotion (if this is not possible then please telephone our training office and we will arrange one for you.
(Models will be required to pay the cost price for the human hair that is used on them)
10 am;. Starting with a consultation, choosing the correct colour, texture and style. students will carry out the process from the beginning to the end.
Under strict supervision students will apply a full set of hair extensions.
Styling and Cutting: Students will be taught how to cut and style extensions
Assessments: will be conducted at the end of the day, and based on completion of each model.
Diplomas will be awarded to those who have reached the standard as set by Connect Hair System .A student who does not quite master the Technique will be required to attend for another day for which there will be no fee charged.
